Packaging soap: Finding the right material
Soap is now an extremely diverse product. In addition to traditional solid soaps for regular hand washing, liquid soaps for dispensers are very popular. There is also a growing range of shampoos and shower gels sold in solid form. This variety also calls for a broad choice of soap packaging. Plastic is therefore the only suitable option for liquid soaps. It provides the necessary liquid barrier and reliably protects the product against many other external influences that could adversely affect the soap.
Paper and board for solid soaps: Solid soap does not present a risk of leakage, but it still needs to be protected as effectively as possible against external influences. In some applications, soap packaging may serve only as secondary packaging. In this case, its visual qualities become particularly important.
