Beer labels direct from the manufacturer
Germans love their beer: on average, each person drinks a good 90 litres of Pilsner, wheat beer and the like every year. But how do you pick your favourite beer from over 5,000 varieties? Fortunately, there are beer labels – the perfect labels for every type of beer bottle or can. High-quality and impressive, so that as a brewery you not only fulfil your EU food labelling obligations but also market your beers to the full. Packaging Warehouse is your partner – for top-class beer labels! Labels advertise and inform – through text and images. Beer labels are no exception – and make use of beer seals, neck labels, belly and chest labels, back labels, seal labels or combinations thereof. What’s what?
Only beer labels of the very highest quality – whether in terms of material, printing or finishing – make an impact at the point of sale. The more unique the layout, the stronger the sales and brand recognition. Booming craft beer breweries are leading the way, with their wide range of new beer styles from India Pale Ale to Stout – all featuring that typically quirky design. Whatever your style – whether classic or unconventional – we’re happy to support you with layouts for your beer labels. Never before has there been such a wide range of design options in terms of possible dimensions, materials and printing. Or elegant accents through protective varnish, protective laminate, relief varnish or hot foil stamping in gold and silver. You can really let your creativity run wild, particularly when designing belly and chest labels. The new beer labels are top-notch, tailored and die-cut to suit your products in every way – rectangular, square, oval, round, in special shapes or with your own die-cut outline. As a label printer, we produce your desired label in full-surface Euroscale format, as beer labels on a roll for your labelling machines.

Looking to label a few bottles of beer yourself? Want to save money with a (semi-)automatic label dispenser? Or apply them on a large scale using a labelling machine? Beer bottle labels from Packaging Warehouse retain their grip and shape even under adverse conditions – provided the label materials are suitable for the product. Paper, plastic, film – each, including the adhesive, has specific advantages. Self-adhesive beer labels are superior to wet-glue labels, which are time-consuming to apply – not least in terms of cost. With a unique feel, paper labels are cost-effective and sustainable here, as they are predominantly made from plant fibres. After use, these beer labels go into the waste paper bin and back into the recycling cycle. Equipped with adhesive on the reverse side for removal, the labels can be removed without leaving any residue before refilling – in one piece rather than in shreds of fibre, and without clogging the plant’s screens.
Despite all this, label paper is so robust and water-resistant that it isn’t damaged during bottling, survives transport without a scratch – and ensures the beer label still looks delicious and crease-free on the shelf. But beer isn’t shampoo (even if some people swear by barley juice as a conditioner); it’s made for immediate consumption. In this respect, waterproof labels and UV resistance – compared to cosmetics labels, for example – take a back seat. Secure adhesion and easy removal later on are also priorities for beer labels made from PP film (polypropylene) and PE film (polyethylene).
